During closing remarks and a press conference on Wednesday at the G7 summit in France, President Donald Trump discussed the current state of negotiations between the United States and Iran. While the two nations are inching towards an agreement to end their conflict, the president warned that the peace process remains precarious.

Trump threatened to restart the war and resume a bombing campaign if Iran fails to comply with the terms laid out in the 14-point Memorandum of Understanding. He stated that the United States may bomb the country if Tehran does not follow the peace deal or honor the terms of the interim agreement.

Although a signing is suggested for Friday, the president indicated the deal could still fall through. Trump vowed that the U.S. will go right back to dropping bombs if Iran does not behave or if he does not like the final deal.
