Three people were killed in a mass shooting that began at an In-N-Out restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho. A total of 10 people were shot inside the restaurant, directly outside, on an adjacent busy road, and at a nearby visitors center lot.
New surveillance footage released by police provides the clearest account of the scene. The video revealed that the gunman walked up to the drive-thru window four times and opened fire, killing an In-N-Out employee.
During the incident, at least three people confronted the gunman with their own weapons. Officials also praised an unarmed employee from a nearby store who engaged the 24-year-old gunman outdoors, slowing him down and possibly preventing more deaths as authorities were catching up. The gunman later killed himself.
