Four Palestinians and one Israeli were killed by gunfire in a shooting incident in the occupied West Bank on Friday. Violence between Israeli settlers, troops, and Palestinians has risen sharply in the occupied Palestinian territory since the start of the Gaza war.
In Nablus, one Israeli was killed near the town of Tal, while two men were killed in the town of Beit Furik. An Israeli settler was also reportedly stabbed. Additionally, a shooting near the Havat Gilad settlement on Friday morning left one person dead and two others injured.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike killed two Palestinians on Thursday. Three other Palestinians were also shot dead in the occupied West Bank.
