Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the Champions League semi-finals, defeating Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield for a 4-0 aggregate victory. Ousmane Dembélé scored both goals, in the 72nd minute and stoppage time, securing PSG’s place in the last four.
The Parisians entered the second leg with a 2-0 advantage from the first match and continued their strong performance. Coach Luis Enrique stated his team demonstrated why they are the reigning champions of Europe.
PSG has now reached the semi-finals for the third consecutive year and aims to become only the second team in the Champions League era, after Real Madrid, to retain the title.
Their next opponents will be either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.
