Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada has been banned for 13 matches by the Spanish Football Federation after a violent incident during a La Liga 2 derby. The former Argentina international received a 12-match suspension for punching Huesca defender Jorge Pulido in the face, in addition to a one-match suspension for a red card. The disciplinary committee also announced that Andrada and his club would be fined.

The incident took place during the final minutes of Zaragoza's 1-0 defeat to Huesca. Andrada shoved Pulido to the ground, leading the referee to show him a second yellow card. After being sent off, Andrada ran after Pulido and hit him in the face with a powerful right-hand punch, which triggered a mass brawl involving players and staff from both teams. Andrada later apologized for his actions.

Other players were also sanctioned following the melee. Huesca goalkeeper Dani Jiménez was suspended for four matches for punching Andrada, while Zaragoza teammate Dani Tasende received a two-match ban. These suspensions are subject to appeal.

In a separate match, Rayo Vallecano player Isi Palazón was suspended for seven matches following a 3-3 draw against Real Sociedad. Palazón was sent off for harsh complaints directed at the referee from the bench in the final minutes of the game, after Rayo had a goal disallowed and a penalty awarded to Sociedad.
