In Ukraine, a Russian missile attack killed 10 people in a village within the northeastern Kharkiv region. The Kharkiv region, portions of which are occupied by Russian forces, has been hit heavily since Moscow launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
Further overnight Russian missile and drone attacks across Ukraine killed two people and injured 19. These strikes included targets at port infrastructure in the Izmail district of the southern Odesa region.
