Three wounded in knife attack at Swiss train station in Winterthur

A man was arrested Thursday after stabbing and wounding three people at the train station in the Swiss city of Winterthur, located in northeastern Switzerland near Zurich. The attack occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m.

The three victims, all Swiss citizens aged 28, 43, and 52, were taken to hospitals. No information was given regarding the severity of their injuries.

The suspect, a 31-year-old Swiss man, has been taken into custody. Zurich regional police stated that the motive for the early morning attack is currently under investigation.
