McDonald’s Adds Energy Drinks & Crafted Sodas to Menus

McDonald’s is expanding its U.S. beverage options with the addition of refreshers and crafted sodas this month.

The new lineup includes a Mango Pineapple Refresher and Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer, with plans to introduce further energy drinks later in the year. The company intends to price these drinks competitively, offering them at a lower cost than similar beverages at chains like Starbucks.

Last year, McDonald’s temporarily operated five CosMc’s stores to test the beverage market, but those locations have since closed. This menu expansion represents the company’s continued focus on growing its cold beverage selection nationwide.
