The Dutch Central Bank has relocated approximately $12 billion in gold reserves from North America to London.

The reserves were moved from New York and Ottawa. The bank cited increasing global geopolitical unrest as the reason for the shift.

The Dutch national bank stated that the transfer was carried out partially by buying and selling and partly by physically transferring the gold.
