Conor McGregor's much-hyped return to the octagon ended abruptly on Saturday night at UFC 329 in Las Vegas. In his fight against Max Holloway, the Irishman was forced to retire due to a knee injury.
The injury occurred during the first round when McGregor seemed to blow out his right knee while jumping in with a kick. The damage took place in the opening seconds of the bout.
The much-anticipated return lasted just over a minute, ending at 69 seconds, or 1:09 of the first round.
