K-pop group BTS released their new album, ‘Arirang’, on Friday, marking a return after a nearly four-year hiatus for military service. The album is described as reflecting the band’s Korean roots and identity.

The release precedes a highly anticipated open-air comeback concert in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square on Saturday night. Organizers expect around 260,000 fans to attend the event, which will be the band’s first performance after their break.

The concert will also be livestreamed globally via Netflix, reaching audiences in approximately 190 countries. Following the Seoul concert, BTS is scheduled to embark on an 82-date world tour.
