FIFA reopened ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup on Wednesday, raising prices for over 40 games. The most expensive ticket to the final now costs $10,990, an increase from previous prices of $8,680 and significantly higher than the approximately $1,600 price tag for the 2022 final.
Category 2 tickets for the July 19th game at MetLife Stadium are now $7,380, up from $5,575, while Category 3 tickets increased to $5,785 from $4,185.
The reopening of sales was reportedly hampered by glitches as fans attempted to purchase tickets. The price increases follow the finalization of the 48-team field for this year’s tournament.
