Paul Pelosi, the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was involved in a hit-and-run car crash on Friday in Yountville, a town in Northern California's Napa County. Driving a brown convertible, Pelosi struck a legally parked vehicle on the side of the road.

According to the Napa County Sheriff's Office, the collision left the parked car with major damage. Following the impact, Pelosi briefly stopped before driving away from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Authorities indicated that Pelosi is expected to face misdemeanor charges. While he had no alcohol in his system at the time of the crash, he previously pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence in Napa County in 2022.
