Manchester City has been found guilty of almost all of the 115 charges for breaking Premier League financial rules. In a seismic ruling that could be a massive hit to one of the world's top football clubs, the club was found guilty of all but one of the alleged breaches.
The Premier League referred Manchester City to an independent commission in February 2023 over alleged breaches of finance rules spanning the 2009-10 to 2022-23 seasons.
The ruling follows allegations that the club did not provide accurate financial information and failed to provide details of payments to players and coaches.
Manchester City has refused to deny there has been a guilty verdict in the majority of the charges of financial breaches in their legal case with the Premier League.
