British actor Lucy Davis, known for her role as Dawn Tinsley in the original version of The Office and a starring role in Shaun of the Dead, has announced that she has incurable stage four breast cancer.
The 53-year-old actor was diagnosed a year and a half ago. She revealed that she almost did not get a tiny hard spot on her breast checked. The disease has since metastasised to her bones, specifically affecting her spine, ribs, and right hip.
Davis stated that the cancer is now too advanced for chemotherapy, noting that it is too late for the treatment.
