Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stated that Netanyahu quietly visited the United Arab Emirates during the Israeli-U.S. war with Iran. However, the UAE has denied that any such secret visit occurred.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the United Arab Emirates of playing an active role in the US-Israeli war against his country. Araghchi referenced the reported meeting between Netanyahu and Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, while Tehran threatened those colluding with Israel.

The UAE has strengthened its relationships with the United States and Israel after coming under attack from Iran. Meanwhile, Iran's first vice president stated that Tehran's right to the Strait of Hormuz is established and the matter is closed.
