TGV Train Crash Kills Driver, Injures 27 in France

A high-speed TGV train collided with a truck on Tuesday morning in the Pas-de-Calais region, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. The accident occurred at a level crossing between Béthune and Lens.

Initial reports indicated 13 injuries, however, the total number of injured has been revised to 27. Two individuals are currently in critical condition, while eleven others sustained less serious injuries.

The driver of the TGV train was killed in the collision. Rail operator SNCF confirmed the details of the incident.
