Small plane crash into Beijing skyscraper kills pilot, injures 13

A small aircraft, approximately the size of a car, crashed into Beijing's tallest building on Friday. The crash is considered a rare occurrence for China's capital, where airspace is heavily restricted and controlled.

Local authorities reported that the pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed in the accident. Thirteen people who were not on the aircraft were injured at the scene.

Following the incident, security was tightened around the 109-storey China Zun tower. Authorities have since restricted access to the building and limited online discussion of the crash.
