Three-times Olympic medallist Lindsey Vonn crashed out of her comeback at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina. The American skiing great revealed that she feared leg amputation during the scary incident.

The 41-year-old is currently recovering both physically and emotionally from the frightening crash. She faces at least 18 months of recuperation.

On Wednesday, Vonn stated that she is unsure if she will return to competitive ski racing. She noted that she is still processing the aftermath of the accident and is currently too emotional to make a decision regarding her future career.
