Dutch police arrested 34 suspects from several countries following a fatal shooting in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The incident took place in Overasselt, a rural village in Gelderland located southeast of Amsterdam.
The shooting resulted in the death of one man and left two police officers wounded. Officers stormed the quiet village in response to the violence.
According to prosecutors, several foreign suspects were among those arrested. Officials have yet to release details on what triggered the overnight events.
