Meta Platforms Inc. has partnered with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries to establish its first AI-enabled data center in India. The agreement involves Meta leasing a facility to support its global AI computing needs.
Reliance Industries will build the 168-megawatt, AI-ready data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The facility is designed to be expandable, providing Meta with the option to scale the site over time.
This collaboration marks Meta's first such facility in the country and contributes to a broader wave of investment in tech infrastructure globally.
