Mia Bieniemy, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, was shot at the couple's home in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia, on Sunday night.
Authorities have arrested and charged the couple's son in connection with the shooting of his mother.
Mia Bieniemy is currently hospitalized in stable condition. The Chiefs stated that their prayers are with the family as police continue to investigate the shooting.
