Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday has announced charges against 14 people, primarily current and former Penn State University students, in connection with a coordinated and highly profitable cocaine trafficking ring. The multistate operation involved the packaging and selling of the drug, which was distributed mainly to Penn State students.

Authorities state the operation centered around two off-campus fraternities, Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi. The drugs were reportedly cut and packaged at these houses, with some pledges allegedly forced to perform these tasks. As a result, Delta Upsilon has been placed on interim probation.

Those involved face a variety of charges, including conspiracy and felony corrupt organizations, among other offenses.
