Kuwait intercepts Iranian drones as Trump warns of fresh strikes

President Trump has threatened to intensify the U.S. campaign against Iran, leading the region to prepare for another escalation. Following a wave of strikes, both sides show little sign of backing down.

Kuwait reported that its air defenses detected and destroyed Iranian drones as Trump weighs new strikes. In response to the current atmosphere, Iran’s military accused the U.S. of moving down the path of escalating tensions.

At a cabinet meeting on Friday, Trump stated that he believed U.S. negotiators could still reach a deal with Iran, although he noted he was losing faith.
