Kosovo court sentences 3 ethnic Serbs to life, 30 years for 2023 terror attack

A court in Pristina has convicted three men on terrorism charges following a 2023 attack in northern Kosovo. The charges stem from an incident where Serb gunmen stormed a village and engaged in a shootout with police.

The attack took place in the village of Banjska, leading to a clash that left four people dead. The casualties included one police officer and three of the gunmen.

As a result of the trial, the court sentenced two ethnic Serbs to life in prison and another man to 30 years.
