Israeli attacks conducted from July 13 to 20 killed at least 57 Palestinians, including six children and eight women. A UN human rights office spokesman noted that 34 of those killed were far from the yellow line Israel imposes in Gaza.
On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City killed a father, his wife, and their four children while setting their home ablaze, according to health officials.
Survivor Ahmed al-Masri stated that the attack took them by surprise and he could hear the children crying out for help, yet he was unable to save them. These regular attacks by Israeli forces continue despite a US-backed ceasefire agreed in October.
