A wildfire has raged out of control for five days in Spain's central Guadalajara province, becoming the largest blaze of the year.
Officials say the fire has burned at least 30,000 hectares of land and forced approximately 1,200 people to evacuate. The blaze is considered one of the most complex to affect the country in years.
The fire broke out amid Spain's third heatwave of the summer, with temperatures forecast to rise above 40C. Forecasters warn that an approaching fresh heatwave will further raise fire risks across much of the country.
