Bill Rasmussen, the founder and co-founder of cable TV sports giant ESPN, has died at the age of 93. The network announced his passing on Tuesday.
Rasmussen died at his Florida home from the effects of Parkinson's disease.
His vision and ambition fueled the 1979 launch of ESPN, which established the world's first 24-hour television network.
