Ukraine and Russia have escalated a deadly air campaign, with Ukrainian strikes setting fire to warehouses and other sites in Russia and Russian bombing rocking Ukraine’s capital.
In Russia, an attack on Kirov killed six people and hit Wildberries warehouses again. In the Russian-controlled peninsula of Crimea, one person was killed and four were injured. Other reports indicate that four people died across Russia and Crimea.
Simultaneously, Russian strikes in Ukraine have killed four people. These casualties reflect a broader trend, as civilian deaths in the more than four-year war have spiked this summer.
