Anthropic PBC has published an updated S-1 filing for its upcoming public offering. The amended prospectus adds third-quarter financial results ending September 30, which were missing from the original document released last week that only included financials through the first half of the year.
The updated filing reveals that the artificial intelligence lab generated $17 billion in revenue during the third quarter. This figure represents a twelve-fold increase compared to the $1.4 billion earned during the same period a year ago, stoking anticipation for a potentially record-breaking IPO.
Despite the revenue surge, the company reported a net loss of $23 billion for the latest three months. The company has swung back to an operating loss, and while revenue has grown significantly, the latest results indicate that growth has slowed.
