Police in London are investigating a security incident near the Israeli Embassy involving a number of discarded items found in the Kensington Gardens area. A cordon was established, restricting access to the gardens and the surrounding neighborhood, where police vans and a white tent were stationed.

The investigation comes after a video was shared online by a group claiming to have targeted the embassy with drones carrying dangerous substances. Counter Terrorism Policing London is aware of the video and is working to determine if the discarded items are linked to these claims.

The Metropolitan Police and the head of counter-terrorism stated that the embassy building had not been attacked. Officers, including some wearing protective clothing, have been combing the area to assess the items found in the park.

A police spokesperson said there is no believed to be an increased public safety risk at this stage, but urged people to avoid the area while officers continue their work.
