Four adults, including the parents and two grandparents of 16 children, were arraigned Wednesday on more than a dozen felony child endangerment charges. The arrests occurred after authorities discovered the children living in a dilapidated home in rural southern Ohio.
Police found the children while executing a search warrant during an unrelated investigation. The 16 children, ranging in age from 1.5 to 18 years old, were found living in deplorable conditions and were in need of medical treatment.
Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson described the conditions inside the house as almost beyond comprehension.
