Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating Lululemon Athletica regarding the potential use of harmful chemicals in its activewear. The probe centers on whether the company’s products contain PFAS, often referred to as “forever chemicals.”

Paxton stated the investigation will examine if the presence of these chemicals aligns with Lululemon’s marketing claims, suggesting customers may not anticipate their inclusion. He announced the investigation on social media Monday.

A spokesperson for Lululemon responded to the inquiry, stating the brand does not utilize these chemicals in its products. The attorney general’s office has initiated a formal investigation into the matter.
