NATO's top military commander, General Alexus Grynkewich, spoke at a security conference in Warsaw amid growing Western concerns over Moscow’s alleged campaign of sabotage and interference against Ukraine’s wartime backers. During the event, Grynkewich insisted on the alliance's readiness and outlined his theory of victory regarding how NATO would approach an attack on the east.
The General bluntly warned Russia that NATO forces would destroy anything and everything involved in an attack if Moscow was foolish enough to launch an assault on alliance territory. He stated that the alliance is prepared to block, blunt, and break any such attack.
This new strategy aims to deny adversaries a foothold and dismantle their warfighting capabilities. Grynkewich outlined a series of steps designed to block an initial attack and break the adversary’s ability to control and support its forces.
While emphasizing NATO's preparedness, Grynkewich praised Ukraine and tempered fears of imminent conflict with Russia, downplaying the odds of such a clash.
