China has postponed the launch of its ambitious Chang’e-7 lunar mission, which was intended to search for water ice near the Moon’s south pole.
A government agency stated that the mission did not meet the conditions for launch, with the space agency citing poor weather as the reason for the postponement.
The mission was due to launch in the coming days but has been delayed until beyond this year. The explorations of the Chang’e-7 will include searching for frozen water on the moon.
