Actress Selma Blair was arrested Sunday night at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York following an incident on Delta Air Lines flight 938 from Los Angeles. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials responded to a call around 11 p.m. regarding a physically abusive passenger aboard the aircraft, which was parked at the gate.
The 54-year-old Legally Blonde star is alleged to have injured two flight attendants during the flight. Reports indicate that Blair punched one flight attendant, bit another, and attempted to open the plane door.
After being taken into custody, Blair reportedly assaulted a police officer and a nurse while being transported to a hospital. The actress is currently being investigated by the FBI following the altercation.
A representative for Blair stated that the actress experienced a medical emergency while aboard the plane.
