Far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos deported to UK after U.S. ICE arrest

British far-right commentator and former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported to the United Kingdom. According to a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson, Yiannopoulos was returned to his home country on Friday after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at an airport in New Orleans earlier in the week.

Officials stated that the internet personality entered the U.S. legally in May 2019 but subsequently overstayed his visitor visa. Yiannopoulos reportedly failed to appear at an immigration hearing and was issued a final order of removal on July 22.

The deportation follows Yiannopoulos's own public advocacy for immediate deportations for anyone unable to prove U.S. residency, including a June 2025 post on X where he called for the deportation of millions of people. White House border czar Tom Homan denied claims that the commentator received preferential treatment by being deported just one day after his arrest.
