VinSpace Joint Stock Co., a Hanoi-based aerospace firm and the year-old satellite arm of Vingroup, Vietnam's biggest private company, has signed an agreement with Elon Musk's SpaceX to launch its first satellites.
The satellites will be deployed on a SpaceX rideshare mission. Some reports state the launch will occur next year, while others specify 2027.
As Vietnam's first private space company, VinSpace seeks to build a domestic space business spanning satellite manufacturing, operations, and data services. This move marks a significant step in Vietnam's efforts to develop its space industry and become a regional space power.
