A Florida airport is set to be renamed after President Donald Trump. Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill Monday authorizing the change from Palm Beach International Airport to President Donald J Trump International Airport.
The move follows a pattern of buildings, warships, institutions, programs, and currency already bearing Trump’s name. His company has also recently filed trademark applications related to the airport.
Hours after the airport renaming was approved, President Trump revealed plans for a Miami skyscraper to house his presidential library. The library will be a towering structure in Miami, adding to the growing list of landmarks associated with his legacy.
