President Donald Trump has signed a memorandum to bring an end to the Iran war. While the conflict is not exactly done and dusted, the president has already turned his sights toward ending other international conflicts.

On Tuesday, Trump stated that Russia should make a deal to end its four-year war in Ukraine. He met with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky at the G-7 summit and noted that he would meet bilaterally with the Ukrainian leader later.

Despite these discussions, the president told reporters that the conflict in Ukraine has no impact on the United States, stating that the country is thousands of miles away.
