French international Paul Pogba and AS Monaco have agreed to part ways by mutual consent. The Ligue 1 club announced on Wednesday that the midfielder's contract has been terminated after just one season.

The 33-year-old leaves the club one year before his contract was scheduled to end. He has struggled to return to form since serving a ban for doping.

During his tenure with the club, Pogba played only six matches.
