Anthropic PBC is expanding Project Glasswing, an initiative that allows organizations to test their cybersecurity defenses using the Claude Mythos Preview model. Initially launched in April with approximately 50 participants, including Google LLC, Nvidia Corp., and Microsoft Corp., the program is now opening access to 150 additional organizations across more than 15 countries.

The Mythos model is designed to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Because of its power, Anthropic has stated that the model is too dangerous to be made available to the general public.

The expansion specifically targets critical infrastructure in sectors such as communications, healthcare, water, and power. Anthropic warns that a successful cyberattack on any of these systems could potentially affect more than 100 million people.
