Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 120-107 home victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. The win gives the Thunder a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series.
Gilgeous-Alexander powered the offense, scoring 37 points and dishing out nine assists to secure the win for Oklahoma City.
However, the victory was tempered by an injury to Thunder star Jalen Williams. Williams left the court in the third quarter after grabbing his left hamstring following a missed contested layup.
Williams has been a key player in the series, having previously recorded 22 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in the Thunder’s 119-84 Game 1 win.
