Paris Saint-Germain confirmed on Wednesday that defender Achraf Hakimi will miss the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich. The Morocco right back sustained a thigh injury during the club's thrilling 5-4 victory in the first leg on Tuesday.
The club stated that Hakimi will be out of action for several weeks. Consequently, he will be unavailable when PSG travels to Munich for the return leg scheduled for next Wednesday.
This is the second time this season that Hakimi has been injured during a match against Bayern. He previously missed several weeks after damaging his left ankle during a 2-1 loss to the team in the Champions League group stage in November.
