House panel releases Bill Gates testimony on Epstein blackmail over affairs

The House Oversight Committee has released transcripts from closed-door depositions conducted in June featuring Bill Gates and Lesley Groff. These testimonies are part of an ongoing investigation into the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

During the proceedings, Gates expressed regret regarding his relationship with the late financier, stating that he should never have met with Epstein in the first place. He further told lawmakers that he believed Epstein may have been considering blackmailing him.

Gates also addressed emails Epstein wrote to himself regarding the Microsoft co-founder's extramarital affairs. While Gates acknowledged the affairs, he disputed the details recorded in those emails and stated that he was not connected to the women through Epstein.
