Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has expressed frustration after receiving unsolicited beauty advice from a plastic surgeon. The Social Democrat, who is Denmark's second female prime minister, received a message from a male cosmetic surgeon asking if she wanted to fix her nose.
The communication arrived as Frederiksen returned from a trip to Kyiv, Ukraine. She posted the note on Instagram, noting that the proposal to help with her appearance came while she had been subjected to air raid sirens in the war zone.
Rebuffing the offer, the Prime Minister advised other high-profile women in similar situations to embrace self-acceptance. Frederiksen stated she is fed up with receiving unsolicited beauty tips on social media.
